What do you all do to pay for the FJ mods?

I do photography work, I do mainly food but I'm trying to expand into other fields, however I think that I might be stuck in food (boo hoo) but I don't care because my clients let me eat what I photograph.

I am a retired engineer and author.

I have only performed a few modifications since purchasing the FJ Cruiser 3 months ago. The most expensive upgrades were swapping out the mild stock tires for BF Goodrich A/Ts and adding a couple of Ricochet aluminum skid plates.

The interior is no longer dim after replacing the 2 incandescent dome lights with TaskLED.com LED modules and adding a few inexpensive battery operated LED lights, too.

What did you engineer for? I thought about being an engineer when I was younger but quickly found out that I was really, really bad at math.

In the summer I bartend in Lake-O, MO but in the winter I find any job I can.

I work at a hospital in the OR, and also as a POC firefighter. Plus some side jobs here and there, handyman type stuff.
